Badesi is populated by ~ 1300 inhabitants during winter but many more during summer since it has many touristic structures such as resorts and hotels.

Badesi Public Beach "Li Junchi", is one of the longest sandy beaches in Sardinia with its 8 Km of length. The beach has been awarded several prizes for being provided with all utilities such as public showers, public swimming pool, bars and toilets.

Other places fully worthy it to be visited in the surroundings are Isola Rossa (a small fishermen's town 10 minutes from Badesi approx.) and Castelsardo (a medieval town with a beautiful castle on the seaside - 20 minutes from Badesi).
